Did you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

More importantly, do you know about The Fourth Annual Blogger Boobie-Thon???

Well, my friends, this is what it's all about:  Breasts.  All shapes and sizes, men's and women's.

The Boobie-Thon only goes through midnight eastern time, SATURDAY OCTOBER 8, so if you want to help them reach their goal of $10,000 this year (last year they raised $8,696.30), or if you want to submit a pic to the cause (yes guys, you too), you'd better get to it!!!

Normally the first $359 donated goes to a "bloggers helping bloggers" charity in the spirit of the original Boobie-Thon.  However, this year our secondary charity's proceeds will go directly to The American Red Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, and we are placing no limits on the funds raised for that charity. The remainder of the funds raised will go directly to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  It is up to you to choose which charity (Komen or Red Cross ) you wish to donate to — and what dollar amount you wish to donate to one, the other, or both.

Oh, and then there's this little tidbit:

Don't forget that once again we also have a private, passworded pay-per-boobie site with bare-boobie photos for donors of $50.00 or more. So what you see isn't all of what you (might) get — we have a high-rollers club, too! Your $50+ donation in 2005 includes access to the pay-photos from 2003 and 2004 as well.

Let's face it, people, this is what the Internet is all about.
