Makeup: Some of it's for me, and some of it's for You.
Concealer is definitely for me. It doesn't always work so great, but I guess beige spots are better than red.
Foundation is for You. The unevenness of my skin tone doesn't bother me near as much as slathering my pores with goop.
Powder is for me. It covers shine, and I like to pretend that it makes up for it on the days I don't wear foundation.
Blush - who knows - once you've put on powder and maybe foundation, you kinda need to swoop some blush to get some color back.
Eye shadow is for You. I think it's the strangest thing when I put it on - everyday. I believe it is The Indication That Make-up Has Been Applied. I think that if I wore nothing but eye shadow, people's eyes would pass over me like, Make-up; Check, rather than stop disapprovingly or surprised on an unmade-up face.
Eyebrow pencil is definitely for me, to fill in that bare patch from when I lived in Tallahassee, and I couldn't get a good brow wax, and they made them too thin, and they burned me.
Mascara is for You. I only wear it when I go out, but by the end of the night, without fail, it's black under my eyes, and I'm swiping it off with remover for days.
Eyebrow curler use is for Me. I have extremely long lashes, and I believe that curling them up opens up my eyes.
Lipstick is for You. I don't get it, but I usually wear it when I get really dressed up. It's annoying, and it's either drying or it gets everywhere. I prefer my lips to remain constantly kissable as I go through life.
Moisturizing lip gloss is for me. My lips get dry, and it amuses me when men won't use my lip balm because it's glossy.
