I did it! I hopped on my bike for my Lipton Bike Giveaway winner drawing!
OK, so this is really slapped together and next time I clearly need some sort of wind screen for the Flip Video, but here it is! Check it out to see if you've won, and I'll email the winner on Monday:
And thanks for all the *great* healthy snack ideas in the comments!

You're so awesome, announcing the bike-winner from your actual bike! What a cool idea. I'm just sad my name isn't "Cynthia." :(

Damn, Liz...You deserve an award for blogging and biking simultaneously in this HORRIBLE HEAT.
Good job and congrats to the winner!

I can't even by disappointed in not winning - that video is just too damn cute.

You should do this more often.
The video thing, I mean, not just giving stuff away.

Awesome seeing you out there on your bike!
I'm concerned about your innertubes though. Call me Captain Obvious but if they're not holding air it's probably not that you're pumping them up wrong so much as they have HOLES in them. Time to get thee to Target or OSH or Pep Boys or any place that has even the most rudimentary bike accessory aisle and get a couple/three spares along with some tire-changing levers. The size tube you need corresponds with the size on the sidewall of your tire. For example: 26" x 1.50".
It's not at all difficult to take swap tubes. Unfamiliar maybe, but not difficult.

Yah Cynthia!
Yes, the vlog was cute.
More so as the video progressed!

Thank you, thank you, everyone! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Will, thank you so much for the info. I had to write a post to explain the level of my cluelessness.

Oh my gosh! I woke up late this morning, downloaded my email and what a SUPER surprise to see I had won the bike here!
This 51 year old gal will ride again! It has literally been a couple decades since I was on a real bike and not a stationary model at the gym.
The best part is that if I am careful how I position my feet on the pedals, it is actually an exercise I *CAN* do with my plantar fasciitis foot problems. The foot doctor has restricted so many exercises because they aggravate my feet, but this should be OK, at least in moderation!
Thanks again to Liz for having the contest! And to Lipton Tea for supporting the blogosphere like this!
I wish there were enough bikes for everyone to win, because I have been so excited since I opened the email! I was hoping if I didn't win one, that one of my blog readers would do so, since I was listing contest links as I found them.
I haven't even had the chance to look at the video yet, I'm on slow dial-up and it will take a while to download for me, but am looking forward to it!
Liz, I emailed you the needed info (name/address/phone) before I popped in over here.
WOO HOO! Have a good day everyone!

The video was great! I brought my husband in to watch once it downloaded and he enjoyed it too. Hope you can get your bike tires fixed up with new tubes OK!
I had to laugh... I needed new car tires pretty badly a couple weeks ago... and had been putting it off. I was pumping one of them up a couple times a week. Finally I bit the bullet and got the car in.
Thanks again, you really made my rainy day! It's just pouring outside, but I feel like singin' in the rain!
