Tagged and procrastinating about an email I need to write up - A perfect confluence!
So. Seven Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me.
The rules:
1. Link to your original tagger(s) and list these rules in your post.
2. Share seven facts about yourself in the post.
3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and the links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they’ve been tagged.
I was tagged by Will Campbell.
1. I have a thing for angels. As in, winged creatures that appear in mythologies and religions worldwide. Angels came to me through my Christian upbringing, an ex-boyfriend who collects angel Magic cards, and from production designing an awesome film short in film school that took place at Christmas and I tried to get an angel into every shot. Now, there's an angel project out in the ether that I'm hoping comes my way. And I bought a great angel candle holder at Christmas that I absolutely love.
2. When I was in high school one path not taken was to become an opera singer. My voice was there, but my heart wasn't. I wanted to be Madonna.
3. It used to be Very Very Important that my cookies were at least in the top three of any cookie exchange. Similarly, I was the overachiever at every potluck. Now I set almonds on fire in my oven and talk to firemen.
4. One of my ultimate dreams is to direct a desert war movie with great female soldiers (and male soldiers) just doing their jobs and doing them well within a larger story.
5. I love "Down Periscope," and I don't give a damn what you think. Movie is funny as hell. May I recommend a double feature with "Tommy Boy"?
6. I studied Japanese for years and basically what stuck is "What time is it" and "I don't understand." I can also ask you how old you are in French, and basically say hello in Spanish. Fail, fail, fail.
7. "Atlas Shrugged" was my favorite book for years and years, and I wanted to change my last name to Roark because of "The Fountainhead." I reread "Atlas Shrugged" in 2007, and while I can see the flaws in the macro-philosophy and the writing style, I still think there's a lot of good there when it comes to personal responsibility, motivation and ambition.
Who I'm tagging: Amy, Average Jane, Dating Trooper, Suzanne, Zandria, Thomai, and Leesepea.

Yes ANGEL wings!!! good thing to love and plant in the background on sets- love that.
so the winged boy on X-men must have rocked your boat.
re:languages
I don't think one can learn a language unless immersed in it.
I've sort of learned and then forgotten more than one language due to lack of practice.
I totally support the war film dream and hope it comes true!
