When I first joined my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, I remember visiting an older sister's apartment and marveling at her giant collection of sorority T-shirts. I couldn't wait to have so many! "Don't worry," she warned. "You'll have more T-shirts than you know what to do with."
She spoke the truth. Before I knew it I was awash in sorority T-shirts.
Cloth grocery bags follow the same rule apparently. At one point, I actually bought a couple of these:
And truth be told, I most often use those two bags, along with my most favorite grocery bag that I got at BlogHer last year:
Once a bagger asked me, "What's blogging?"
So, I have my 3 usual grocery bags... and 12 more. It's 2009, and I can't be the only one awash in cloth grocery bags, can I? It's the primo swag.
This beautiful bag came full of SmartFood (and you still have a little over a week to enter the contest for the $100 Visa gift card):
This one came with my CVS card:
And this one was bought years ago at Barnes & Noble:
I guess because I thought I could use a nice cloth bag.

Cute bag collection. I thought you were going to suggest making those old tshirts into bags. I may get my aunt on that project. I found a project on etsy that actually makes a heavy duty reusuable bags by ironing and melting together plastic shopping bags I want to try. I don't really sew though.

Ah, for me that would be T-shirts and jeans. I have a whole box of them waiting to be turned into a quilt. You know, in my spare time. ;)
And yeah, I'll totally have to learn how to quilt when the time comes.

Thanks! They are cheery, too. I love having bags that remind me of events and things. :)
