One thing I'll miss when I finally move on from paper calendars is my monthly quotes. Throughout the year, when a quote comes to me, I write it across the top of that month. I never look for a quote to write, so some months don't have one.
2010 was a particularly challenging year. It's also a year where I wrote a lot of quotes.
January: "A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor." - English Proverb
February: "If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you have to find the courage to live it." - John Irving
June: "Success is the ability to go from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." - Winston Churchill
July: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt
August: "Be fun and don't be afraid to kick ass." - Esra'a Al Shafei, Mideast Youth
September: "Action springs not from thought, but from a readiness for responsibility." - Deitrich Bonhoeffer
November: "My philosophy is very simple. To feel young, you must work as long as you can." Dino DeLauretis
December: "Take the bitter with the better, eh?" - Mr. Kenwright, The Social Network
Four weeks to unemployment again.
